Greek Topping

  • Feta cheese
  • Red onion
  • Cucumber
  • Tomato
  • Green pepper
  • Black olives
  • Olive oil
  • Lemon juice
  2. Rinse in cold water and then dry the tomato, green pepper and cucumber.
  3. Peel the red onion and cut into thin strips.  
  4. Soak the onion in a bowl with cold water and a tablespoon of vinegar – this will give it a milder flavour. 
  5. Cut the tomato into quarters, removing the middle.
  6. Cut off the tail and remove the seeds from the green pepper and then slice.
  7. Cut the cucumber into slices and quarters.  
  8. Cut the feta cheese into cubes.  
  9. With all the all the ingredients now ready, mix the tomato, pepper, cucumber, drained onion, feta cheese and black olives and serve either in individual portions or a large bowl in the centre of the table.
  10. Add a good dash of olive oil, salt to taste and a sprinkle of oregano.
